Clinical Explanation:Glaucoma is increased pressure within the eye.Cells inside the eyeproduce a clear fluid that maintains the shape of the eye and nourishes the tissues inside the eye.The aqueous humor drains out of the eye into the bloodstream through the drainage angle-asieve or meshwork-like area through which aqueous percolates out of the eye.The balance of aqueous fluid production and drainage is responsible for maintaining normal pressure inside the eye.

Operation procedure:
1.Laser ciliary coagulation through sclera was performed under CHEESE 10W 980nm;
2.A 200um fiber stood on the sclera 3mm out side from limbus;
3.Laser shootings were operated 40 times around cornea
4.After operation,antibiotics and a NSAID were given locally and systemically.


Advantage:
Laser coagulation was so easy treatment without post-operative complications such as intraocular bleeding.


Notice:
1.When laser shooting,attention was paid not to avoid coagulation of arteries at the
angle of 3 and 9 o'clock.
2.After the operation,melted down or carbonized tissues should be wiped off with a moist swab.
