healing and help reduce post operative pain.
Treatment Parameters
2 watts / 30 sec / CW or 20 Hz (T-on=T-off)
2 watts / 30 sec / 500 Hz (T-on=T-off)
2 watts / 30 sec / 5000 Hz (T-on=T-off)
Pulsed laser energy at CW or 20Hz reduces pain, at 500Hz reduces edema, and at
5000Hz accelerates healing.
Post operative treatment of the incision site and the surrounding area.
Future post operative care
The Class IV High Power Therapy Laser is used as part of the overall pain management
protocol, as an adjunct to appropriate pharmacological agents. Additional ClassIV High
Power Laser treatment is not used in routine elective surgeries.
