Feline Declaws Resection Laser

Clinic Explanation: Declaw is an operation to surgically remove an animal’s claws by means of the amputation of all or part of the distal phalanges, or end bones, of the animal’s toes.

Operation procedure:
a. Make sure all toes are clean, and anesthesia.
b. Connect the dental surgery handpiece with device, setting the parameters. Wearing a laser safety goggles, starting laser and irradiation on the end of the cat claw.
c. Kept laser irradiating, and moved handpiece back and forth to cut down the claw.
Advantage:
Cat laser declawing causes almost no bleeding during the surgery and afterwards;
laser seal the blood vessels and nerve endings.
A cat that was declawed with a laser will experience less post-operative pain and won’t have to necessarily wear a bandage on his feet.
